Our Commitment

At Quiddity Health Ltd we stand committed to:


  • Adopting ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) best practices.
  • Upholding human rights, including ensuring no-one in our direct operations or extended supply chain or customer base is subjected to modern slavery and human trafficking.
  • Preventing bribery and corruption by persons associated with Quiddity Health Ltd and foster a culture within the organisation in which bribery and corrupt activity is never acceptable in accordance with Principle 2 of the UK Bribery Act.


As a principled company we hold ourselves to the highest possible standard. As part of this ethos of acting ethically, we have a responsibility to consider the environment, social and governance (ESG) impacts of our activities. We aim to ensure that our activities positively affect society as a whole.


The Company holds itself accountable for its impact on society and looks to prioritise profits, people, and the planet in equal measure, operating as a means of improving reputation and profitability. In practice, this involves initiatives like helping in the local community, reducing our Company’s carbon footprint and working with local charities.


Environmental

We appreciate that all our activities, whether in the office or as a consequence of the business activities we undertake have a positive or negative impact on the environment.


The Company’s activities are subject to on-going review and there is commitment from the senior management team to reduce our environmental impact as far as is reasonably practicable. This includes:


  • Being energy efficient
  • Reducing our use of paper
  • Utilising environmentally friendly transport
  • Using less water


These commitments are outlined in further detail within the Company’s Environmental Policy.


Quiddity Health Ltd has been a Carbon Positive Business since the company formation in 2019. 


Social

Quiddity Health Ltd will conduct business in a socially responsible and ethical manner. All our staff are expected to do the same.


Social values are ingrained in the culture of our Company and every facet of the business, not just because we have a corporate responsibility but because we believe it is the right thing to do as an ethical business.


Social values to us means many things including:


  • diversity, equality and equal opportunities within our team
  • providing a working environment in which all our staff can realise their potential free from bullying behaviour and any form of harassment
  • being a part of the communities within which we operate and supporting those communities supporting charitable activities


Quiddity Health Ltd will advise our partners, contractors, and suppliers of our social values, and will work with them to achieve consistency with this policy.

Governance

Quiddity Health Ltd is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and corporate governance practices in order to maintain excellence in its daily operations, and to promote confidence in our governance systems.


We pride ourselves in having a transparent decision-making process in place that is underpinned by clear policies and processes. All of those policies are underpinned by a Code of Ethics which outlines the integrity within which we expect our business to be run. That high level of integrity applies to all.


Our Company policies are reviewed on at least an annual basis. They must be approved by the senior management team and all staff are required to attest that they have read and understood the policies applicable to them.


We aim to ensure accurate, consistent and timely information is provided to our stakeholders including customers and investors.


Modern Slavery

At Quiddity Health Ltd we stand committed to upholding human rights, including ensuring no-one in our direct operations or extended supply chain or customer base is subjected to modern slavery and human trafficking.


Our core values are premised on integrity; therefore we take adherence to laws, including The Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the Act), seriously and we are fully supportive of initiatives aimed at the eradication of both slavery and human trafficking across the globe.

Our recruitment and people management processes are designed to ensure that all prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the UK and to safeguard employees from any abuse or coercion.


We are confident that the pre-employment screening checks we undertake in relation to our own employees (including verifying their right to work) and paying above the government living wage across the UK go a long way to limit the possibility of slavery and human trafficking existing.


We do not enter into business with any organisation, in the UK or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.


Embedding the principles

We will continue to embed and reinforce these principles through:


  • providing awareness training to staff on the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and informing them of the appropriate action to take if they suspect a case of slavery or human trafficking
  • ensuring staff involved in buying or procurement and the recruitment and deployment of workers are aware of and follow modern slavery procurement guidance on GOV.UK
  • ensuring that consideration of the modern slavery risks and prevention are part of the review process as an employer and procurer of goods and services
  • continuing to take action to embed a zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery


Anti Bribery and Corruption

Quiddity Health Ltd will constantly uphold all laws relating to anti-bribery and corruption in all the jurisdictions in which we operate.  We are bound by the laws of the UK, including the Bribery Act 2010, regarding our conduct both at home and abroad.

 

We are committed to preventing bribery and corruption by persons associated with Quiddity Health Ltd and foster a culture within the organisation in which bribery and corrupt activity is never acceptable in accordance with Principle 2 of the UK Bribery Act.

 

We are committed to conducting business in an ethical and honest manner and to implementing and enforcing systems that ensure bribery is prevented. 


We have a zero-tolerance for bribery and corrupt activities, and is committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships. 


We recognise that bribery and corruption are punishable by up to ten years of imprisonment and a fine. 


If the company is discovered to have taken part in corrupt activities, it may be subjected to an unlimited fine, and face serious damage to its reputation. 


It is with this in mind that we commit to preventing bribery and corruption in our business and take our legal responsibilities seriously.
